- Additional 36 credits towards Master in Atmospheric Science from Texas Tech University.
- Numerous Honor Societies including Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and Mortar Board International Honor Society.
- Research topics include: Doppler Observed Low-Level Wind Surges in Hurricane Danny's (1997) Eyewall and Tornadoes embedded within the Outer Rainbands of Hurricane Frances (2004) with analysis presented at Association of American Geographers.
- Texas Tech University Instructor teaching Atmospheric Science courses.
- Experience in both television and radio broadcast.
- Member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS).
