The Alerts themselves can be designed to meet your specific thresholds. First you pick a region (supply stack) then describe how you would want to be notified. Such as

1. Any news related to any power plant, greater than 500mw, in your stack, or
2. Any time your entire supply stack (in aggregate) is reduced 20% or more from a combination of planned/unplanned outages during a bal-week time period.

These are two examples of almost an infinite number of custom combination of Alerts which can be created through First Insight's "filtering mechanism".
